Apologies to those who might have wanted some, but there isn't anything like that. There is little to no fanservice present in the novel, and it's just the way I like it. It's sweet, shy and awkward, again, just the way I love it. Personally, I really loved the dynamic and little bit of potential romance between the two.

It's not just a happy go lucky slice of life so don't go into it expecting a fluffy cooking LN. For the sake no spoilers, I won't be saying much, but I'll say this much. I'd say my favorite was the 'bro' character, a smart kid who's a heck lot younger than our MC.

I wish the side cast got more screentime, but this is the first introductory volume after all. She's far from being the perfect girl who does everything well, but her clumsiness is just part of her charm. Her devotion towards him brings a smile to my face. And his waitress girl, Sven, is a pretty cute girl as well. It's a simple job but watching him trying his best to get his bread sold is heartwarming. Lud is the type who looks big and scary, but has a heart of gold. I'm just glad that our protagonist isn't "Ordinary high school student #63529". The characters aren't particularly well written or anything, but they are charming and brings a smile to your The story isn't anything special, but it does its job. It's not worthy of a 9 rating, but I'm giving it a 9 anyway. It's nothing as amazing as say, Spice and Wolf, but it's nice. I'll bluntly say this, I'm a bit biased towards it due to my love for robot girls, and thus it has had a good amount of influence towards my enjoyment of it. Combat baker and automation waitress was surprisingly a much better read than I expected.
